How this plays out for sheriffs and deputies

Sheriff and deputy doxxing follows the same broker chain as other LE doxxing, but the small-community piece changes the math. In a rural county, everyone already knows where the sheriff lives. The broker page just confirms it for outsiders. For deputies, the visibility is lower but the pool of potential adversaries is closer — defendants live in the same county, sometimes the same town.

Rural property records are usually wide open online. The county recorder publishes deed transfers, the assessor publishes the tax roll, and brokers scrape both within weeks of any transaction. A deputy who closed on a house last month is on Spokeo this month.
