What WeInform knows about you

WeInform is a smaller people-search site that resells data sourced from the same upstream pipes everyone else uses: voter rolls, property records, court filings, and feeds licensed from larger brokers. The displayed file is the standard pattern — full name, current address, prior addresses going back years, phone numbers, approximate age, relatives and household members.

Lower traffic than Spokeo or BeenVerified. Same content. WeInform doesn't generate any of this data on its own; it's a storefront on top of a wholesale feed.

Why it matters if you're on the job

A site doesn't have to be famous to drop your home address on the first page of a name search. WeInform indexes well for less common names, and once Google surfaces it, the traffic ranking stops mattering. The person looking for you clicks the first plausible result.

This is also why the volume of mirror sites is the actual threat model. Each one is its own cleanup. Each one has its own opt-out queue. None of them share suppression lists with their competitors. A spouse's name pivots straight to your address on every single one, which means the family-pivot problem doesn't shrink just because the site is smaller.

How to opt out

WeInform's opt-out is the search-and-submit pattern. Find your listing on the public site, paste the URL into the opt-out form, give them an email, and click the link they send to confirm. The form quietly drops requests that don't get verified. Steps are above.

How long until you're back

Roughly eight months. Whenever the upstream brokers refresh their feeds, WeInform's index repopulates. There's no guarantee the suppression carries forward through that refresh, which is why a one-shot opt-out doesn't hold.

What we do that's faster

We file the opt-out, click the verification email, and check WeInform on a recurring schedule so the re-list doesn't sit there for months. We're running the same loop on every other small site carrying the same data.

Doing this for one broker is straightforward. Doing it for 200, on a continuous basis, is what we do.
