What WeInform knows about you
WeInform is a smaller people-search site that resells data pulled from the same upstream sources everyone else uses: voter rolls, property records, court filings, and feeds licensed from larger brokers. The file it shows follows the standard pattern: full name, current address, prior addresses going back years, phone numbers, approximate age, and relatives and household members.
It is lower-profile than Spokeo or BeenVerified, but the content is the same. WeInform does not generate any of this data itself. It is a storefront on top of a wholesale feed. The site also appears branded as Truthrecord on the same records.
Why it matters if you're on the job
A site does not have to be well known to put your home address on the first page of a name search. A low-profile site can still rank on the first page, especially for a less common name. Once a search engine surfaces the page, the site's overall traffic stops mattering. Someone looking for you clicks the first plausible result.
This is also why the number of mirror sites is the real problem. Each one is its own cleanup, with its own opt-out queue, and brokers generally do not share suppression lists with each other. Your spouse's name on WeInform links straight to your shared address, so a family member's listing exposes your household even if you have never searched your own name.
How to opt out
WeInform uses the search-and-confirm pattern. On weinform.org, open the "Do Not Sell My Info" link, search your name and state, pick the record that is yours, and submit the form with your email, name, address, and phone number. Then open the confirmation email they send and click the verification link. Requests that are not confirmed by email are not processed. The full step list is above. If the opt-out link moves, contact support@weinform.org and ask them to point you to the current removal page.
How long until you're back
Plan on rechecking rather than treating one removal as final. WeInform rebuilds its index from the same upstream suppliers on a rolling basis, and there is no guarantee that a past suppression carries forward when those feeds refresh. A new address, a new phone number, or a relative's updated record can bring your listing back.
What we do that's faster
We file the opt-out, click the verification email, and recheck WeInform on a recurring basis so a re-list does not sit there for months. We run the same process across the other small sites carrying the same data, and across the people in your household who share your address. We handle most of the work and tell you clearly when a site needs something from you.

Who owns it
We Inform LLC is registered as a data broker with the California Attorney General's office (registration 544252) and operates both weinform.org and truthrecord.org, with a registered address in Coconut Creek, Florida. No separate parent company is publicly identified.
Where the data comes from
- Public recordsVoter rolls, property records, and court filings pulled from government sources.
- Commercial data-broker feedsLicensed from larger people-search brokers that supply the same wholesale data to many sites.
Doing this for one broker is straightforward. Doing it for 200, on a continuous basis, is what we do.
