What Persopo knows about you

Persopo carries the usual people-search payload — full name, current and past addresses, phone numbers, an age bracket, and a relatives list. The data is sourced from court filings, property records, voter rolls, and bulk commercial data sets the same way every other broker sources theirs. Persopo isn't generating anything new. They're republishing what was already out there with their logo on top.

What sets them apart is search ranking. Persopo competes for your name on Google like a real site, and sometimes wins. A page that loads in two seconds and shows your address is a problem regardless of whether the broker behind it has a famous name.

Why it matters if you're on the job

People who go looking don't stop at one site. They run through a list. Persopo will be on that list. The exposure profile is the same as the bigger brokers — full address, phone, the names of people you live with — at a smaller scale that doesn't make it any less searchable.

The relatives part is where it bites. Your spouse, your parents, your adult kids who used a parent's address on a lease — all chained together. Anyone working backwards from a relative's name still ends up at your front door.

How to opt out

Persopo runs a self-service flow. Pull up your listing on the public site first, then submit to the opt-out page with an email address. Click the verification link in the email or the request stalls. Persopo has its own queue, separate from every other broker — opt-outs don't share between sites.
