What PeopleWhiz knows about you
PeopleWhiz is a mid-tier people-search site with the standard data set: name, address, prior addresses, phone, age, relatives. The opt-out form requires a captcha that occasionally fails on Firefox — submit through Chrome or Safari to avoid the silent failure where the form looks accepted but the request never lands.
Why it matters if you're on the job
Same standard exposure pattern as other mid-tier brokers. The captcha quirk is the trap — officers who file an opt-out and assume it processed sometimes find themselves still listed two weeks later because the form silently failed.
How to opt out
Standard search-claim-verify-by-email flow. Steps in optOutSteps above.
What we do that's faster
We file the PeopleWhiz removal and re-check every two weeks.
Doing this for one broker is straightforward. Doing it for 200, on a continuous basis, is what we do.
