Risk data brokers

Risk-data aggregators are the tier above consumer people-search. They feed insurance underwriters, lenders, fraud-scoring platforms, skip tracers, and licensed investigators. The data is the same family — name, address history, court filings, household composition — but the buyer is a credentialed business, not a curious neighbor.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions, TransUnion TLOxp, and Pipl are the names that matter for first responders. They power the dossier work bail bondsmen and PIs do. Their consumer opt-outs exist on paper but routinely carve out the products law enforcement and licensed subscribers actually use — Accurint, TLOxp, and the like. Read the fine print before you assume a suppression got you off the platform.

Verisk and Cotality (formerly CoreLogic) sit alongside them on the property and insurance side. Cotality in particular is the upstream source for half the property-broker pages that surface your home address — opt out at the source, not just the consumer mirrors.
