Victim advocates

Working with DV survivors means perpetrators sometimes target you.

Why this page exists

Victim advocates work against perpetrators of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and trafficking. The same perpetrators sometimes target the advocate as well as the survivor. The threat profile is concentrated and the work-life separation is critical.

What we sweep for you

The threat shape is parallel to the survivor's — when the perpetrator can't reach the survivor, advocates become a substitute target. We pull from broker sites and re-check biweekly. Particular attention to the relative-listing fields, since perpetrators trained on stalking-the-survivor patterns apply the same logic to you. The shelter or program address that appears alongside your name in any state filing is its own seed event we track separately.

We sweep the family the same way.

What you should do today, free

Most state Address Confidentiality Programs cover advocates working in qualifying contexts — that's the strongest legal layer available to you and it's free. Check your state's ACP and enroll. The free scan maps the broker side. We close that gap continuously.
